Overview

Data Engineer responsible for building and maintaining scalable data systems and data models to support operations, analysis, and downstream business needs.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain scalable data models and pipelines using AWS native technologies.
• Collaborate with business functions to improve data model quality and enable data-driven decisions.
• Implement data reconciliation and monitoring processes to ensure production data accuracy and availability.
• Write unit, integration, and performance test scripts and maintain engineering documentation.
• Perform data analysis to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
• Work with Agile Scrum teams to deliver integrated and scalable data products.
• Partner with enterprise and DevOps teams to design integration patterns and deploy data pipelines in Takeda AWS environments.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in data engineering/software development/data warehousing/data lake/mesh (preferably 3+).
• Strong expertise in data integration, data modeling, and modern database technologies.
• Experience with DBA, schema design & dimensional modeling, and SQL optimization.
• Good written and verbal communication for cross-functional collaboration.
• Knowledge of engineering practices including DevSecOps and Git-based source versioning.
• Proficiency working in Agile Scrum Teams using JIRA and Confluence.
