Data Engineer

Overview

Design, develop and maintain data solutions for data generation, collection, and processing, including data pipelines, data quality and ETL processes that migrate and deploy data across systems.

What you'll do

• Design, develop and maintain data solutions for data generation, collection, and processing.
• Create data pipelines and ensure data quality.
• Implement ETL (extract, transform and load) processes to migrate and deploy data across systems.
• Act as an SME, collaborate with and manage the team to perform, and take responsibility for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions; provide solutions to problems for the immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead efforts to optimize data workflows and improve system performance.
• Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives to align data engineering efforts with organizational goals.

What you'll need

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Snowflake Data Warehouse.
• Proficiency in Snowflake Data Warehouse.
• Proficiency in Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL).
• Proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Proficiency in Data Warehouse ETL Testing.
• Strong knowledge of data pipeline architecture and best practices for data integration.
• Experience in designing scalable and reliable ETL processes to handle large volumes of data.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data storage and processing platforms.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data-related issues efficiently.
• 15 years full time education.

Nice to have

• Experience with Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL).
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Experience with Data Warehouse ETL Testing.
