Data Engineer

Overview

Data Engineer responsible for building and maintaining data systems for collecting, storing, processing, and analyzing data with accuracy, accessibility, and security.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain data architecture, pipelines, and data transfer/processing for consistent datasets.
• Design and implement data warehouses and data lakes with appropriate data volume/velocity and security controls.
• Develop processing and analysis algorithms for intended data complexity and volumes.
• Collaborate with data scientists to build and deploy machine learning models.
• Perform prescribed activities on time and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead and supervise a team, allocating work and coordinating team resources.

What you'll need

• In-depth technical knowledge and experience in the assigned area of expertise.
• Thorough understanding of underlying principles and concepts in the area of expertise.
• Ability to make evaluative judgments from factual information with attention to detail.
• Experience resolving problems using acquired technical experience and guided by precedents.
• Ability to communicate complex/sensitive information and guide/persuade team members.
• Ability to advise and influence decision-making within own area of expertise.
