Data Engineer (CDP Specialist)

Overview

Data Engineer (CDP Specialist) role joining a newly formed Product Team to scale up and globally roll out the Customer Data Platform (CDP), used for Marketing Automation in the Human Pharma and Animal Health business units of a top global pharmaceutical company.

What you'll do

• Play a crucial role in both the development and operations of the CDP platform.
• Ensure high-quality deliverables and leverage state-of-the-art technologies to keep the platform running stable and compliant.
• Manage and organize data, building and maintaining data infrastructure and pipelines.
• Collaborate with the internal team and external implementation partner to proactively drive problems to resolution.
• Influence and negotiate scope and requirements, championing innovative process changes and technology-enabled solutions.

What you'll need

• Excellent SQL and analytical SQL functions knowledge.
• Experience with Python scripting, Pandas and Dig Dag scripting.
• Proficiency in Agile delivery and software development lifecycle in a DevOps environment.
• Familiarity with Atlassian suite (Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence).
• Experience in incident management and test automation, preferably in the context of a data platform.
• Strong communication skills and relationship development and management capabilities.
• Bachelor and/or Master degree or equivalent.
• Progressive IT and business experience of 5-10 years preferred.
• 2-5 years Data Engineering experience in big data solutions.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Treasure Data CDP and/or Data Cloud platform.
