Overview

Data Engineer role within Genpact's Data Engineering practice, building data ingestion, storage and ETL pipelines for enterprise clients.

What you'll do

• Develop and implement data ingestion processes.
• Design and optimize data storage and retrieval solutions.
• Build and maintain ETL processes to transform and load data into data lake/warehouse.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver relevant datasets.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
• Ensure data quality and integrity in the data pipelines.
• Research and evaluate new data technologies and tools for continuous improvement.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's in Business Analytics, Computer Science or Statistics, or Master's in Data Science.
• Required skills: Agile Methodology, Cloud Computing, Data Engineering, Data Literacy, Design Thinking, Snowflake (Platform), Storytelling, Collaboration Tools, Executive Presence, Inclusion, Personal Effectiveness.
• Language: English (Required), Proficient - C2.

Nice to have

• Certified Data Management Professional (Riversand).
• Databricks Certified Associate Developer for Apache Spark 3.0 or Apache Spark (Databricks Academy).
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate.
• Oracle Database 12c Certified Implementation Specialist.
