Data Engineer (Snowflake | DBT)

Overview

Data Engineer to build reliable, scalable data products connecting business requirements to production-ready datasets.

What you'll do

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate problem statements into data requirements.
• Design and build dimensional and analytical data models in Snowflake using dbt.
• Build and manage Airflow DAGs to orchestrate multi-step data pipelines with reliability and SLA adherence.
• Implement data quality checks and freshness tests in dbt.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to validate source data and surface anomalies.
• Collaborate with analytics, product, and engineering teams to deliver well-structured, well-documented data solutions.

What you'll need

• 4–6 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a similar related role.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining dbt projects in Snowflake.
• Proven ability to author and manage production Airflow DAGs.
• Advanced SQL skills, including complex transformations and window functions in Snowflake.
• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation, pipeline scripting, and automation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
