Data Governance Practitioner role focused on establishing and enforcing data governance policies to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of organizational data.

What you'll do

• Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of organizational data.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to define data standards and facilitate effective data collection, storage, access, and usage.
• Drive data stewardship initiatives for comprehensive and effective data governance.
• Act as an SME, collaborate with and manage the team, and take responsibility for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
• Lead the development and implementation of data governance frameworks and best practices.
• Facilitate communication and alignment between technical teams and business units to ensure data governance objectives are met.
• Monitor compliance with data governance policies and recommend improvements to enhance data quality and security.
• Support junior team members by providing guidance and fostering their professional growth within the data governance domain.

What you'll need

• Must have: proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
• 15 years of full-time education.
• Experience with data management and governance tools and methodologies.
• Strong understanding of data security principles and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Ability to design and implement data stewardship programs and data quality controls.
• Skilled in collaborating across diverse teams to drive data governance initiatives.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on scalable and sustainable data solutions.
