Data Platform Engineer

Overview

Data Platform Engineer role that assists with the data platform blueprint and design, including the relevant data platform components, and collaborates with Integration Architects and Data Architects to ensure cohesive integration between systems and data models.

What you'll do

• Contribute to the development and refinement of the data platform blueprint and design, ensuring all relevant components are effectively incorporated.
• Collaborate with Integration Architects and Data Architects to maintain seamless integration between systems and data models.
• Act as an SME, collaborate with and manage the team to perform, and be responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for the immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead efforts to optimize data platform performance and scalability.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance technical capabilities.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives to ensure alignment of data platform objectives with business requirements.

What you'll need

• Proficiency in SAS Data Integration.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAS Data Integration.
• Experience in designing and implementing data workflows and pipelines.
• Strong understanding of data architecture principles and best practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data integration issues.
• Familiarity with data governance and quality assurance processes.
• Skilled in collaborating with architects and technical teams to deliver integrated data solutions.
• 15 years full time education.
