Data Platform Engineer

Overview

As a Data Platform Engineer, contribute to the development and refinement of the data platform blueprint and design. Collaborate with Integration Architects and Data Architects to support integration between systems and data models, data flow, interoperability, and evolving business needs.

What you'll do

• Contribute to the development and refinement of the data platform blueprint and design.
• Ensure that relevant data platform components are effectively incorporated.
• Collaborate with Integration Architects and Data Architects to maintain integration between systems and data models.
• Align platform strategies with organizational goals.
• Facilitate data flow and interoperability across multiple platforms.
• Support the overall data infrastructure to meet evolving business needs.
• Collaborate and manage the team to perform as an SME.
• Make team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
• Lead efforts to optimize data platform architecture and ensure scalability and reliability.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentorship within the team.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives to align data governance practices with organizational standards.

What you'll need

• Minimum 12 year(s) of experience is required.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in Collibra Data Governance.
• 15 years full time education.
• Proficiency in Collibra Data Governance.
• Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and best practices.
• Experience in designing and implementing data platform components with a focus on integration.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with architects and technical teams to ensure system interoperability.
• Familiarity with data modeling concepts and their application within enterprise data platforms.
• Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving complex data platform issues to maintain system integrity.
