Data Programmer

Overview

Labcorp is seeking a Data Programmer to join its team at Brigade Twin Tower in Bengaluru, working a rotating shift schedule. The role leads data management during study start-up and supports ongoing clinical data management.

What you'll do

• Lead data management during start up.
• Act as a data liaison between Clinical Data Management and all other Labcorp departments and business units.
• Manage all client queries.
• Assist in identification and initiation of process improvement activities.
• Create standard data transfer format(s) in compliance with client requests while adhering to both internal processes and regulatory standards.
• Provide ongoing data management support during study maintenance.
• Ensure uninterrupted client service.
• Record data transfer activities and maintain protocol portfolios as required to track workload and productivity.
• Work in collaboration with Clinical Data Manager personnel to assist in day to day activities as assigned.
• Mentor new hires.
• Quality review team work for simple to moderate tasks.
• Triage work assessment and work allocation.
• Support as an SME for training requirements.
• Assist the SME and manager in preparing and maintaining metrics for the entire team.
• Represent the team in department level meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's Degree in Technology.
• 3 years of experience in the clinical trials process and pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong organizational, planning, and critical-thinking skills.
• Well-polished, inclusive, and engaging communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a timely and professional manner under demanding conditions.
• Ability to use standard Microsoft suite of software products.
• Conversant with databases and database terminology.
• Strong technical aptitude.
• Customer service experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Self-motivated (work independently and proactively).
• Time-management and follow-up skills.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Life Science.
• 1 year of experience in programming languages and tools such as SQL and Informatica.
