Data Scientist

Overview

As a Data Scientist, you will build digital solutions, People Analytics products and related tools for HR processes and workflows. You will analyze large volumes of data, develop predictive and machine learning models, and design custom solutions that drive business impact.

What you'll do

• Build digital solutions for various HR processes and workflows, People Analytics products, and related tools using React front-end and FastAPI backend architectures.
• Design and maintain backend data systems, including hands-on work with Snowflake.
• Build LLM-based workflows and Agentic AI solutions to support HR and People Analytics use cases.
• Tackle new business problems and explore large volumes of data.
• Work with business stakeholders, understand their individual needs, and design custom solutions.
• Interrogate data, conduct independent research, utilize various techniques to analyze it, and tackle ambiguous problems with maturity.
• Build machine learning algorithms and implement models in production.

What you'll need

• At least 2-4 years of experience working in the data science domain.
• Knowledge of advanced statistical modelling, testing, data mining, and data science techniques.
• Experience using modelling frameworks including Scikit-learn, PyTorch, and TensorFlow.
• High proficiency in Python and SQL or any other querying language.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• A strong logical and scientific approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate complex results in a simple and concise manner at all levels within the organization.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
• Conceptual understanding of Hadoop and cloud computing like AWS.
• Experience with one or more of the following types of business analytics applications: Sentiment Analysis and Topic Modelling; Predictive Modelling; Customer Segmentation / Profiling; Designing & Implementing AI/LLM workflows, including prompt engineering; Recommendation engines.

Nice to have

• Experience developing applications using React and FastAPI.
• Experience developing AI-powered workflows or tools, such as LLM-based agents and automation pipelines.
• Demonstrated participation on platforms like Kaggle.
• Experience using Amazon Web Services.

• Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
• Hybrid work model with 2-3 days a week in the office depending on the role.
