Data Scientist, AVP

Overview

Lead Data Scientist (AVP) for the AI/ML Science team, focusing on Agentic AI and LLM, generative AI, and advanced analytics solutions at enterprise scale.

What you'll do

• Lead end-to-end delivery of AI/ML and LLM-based solutions from problem framing to monitoring.
• Architect and implement generative AI and agentic applications using prompt engineering, fine-tuning, embeddings, vector search, and RAG.
• Define model evaluation and benchmarking practices, including explainability and anomaly detection.
• Build knowledge graphs, graph-based reasoning, and semantic search capabilities for intelligent applications.
• Productionize models with engineering/SRE/platform teams, optimizing scalability and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with Responsible AI practices and model governance/regulatory requirements.
• Mentor data scientists and communicate technical findings and risks to stakeholders.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of overall experience in IT.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in machine learning, statistical modeling, and AI solution development.
• 2+ years in generative AI/LLMs.
• BS/BTech/Master’s in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong proficiency in Python and ML/AI frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras).
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, NLP, prompt engineering, embeddings, vector databases, and RAG.
• Experience with Azure and/or AWS for AI/ML development and deployment.
