Overview

Data Scientist II-2 role with the Data Science and Analytics team at Finicity (a Mastercard company), focused on intelligent decisioning and related analytics areas.

What you'll do

• Manipulate large datasets and apply technical/statistical techniques to draw insights.
• Build machine learning and deep learning solutions for financial applications.
• Design and implement ML models for transaction classification, temporal analysis, and risk modeling.
• Measure, validate, implement, monitor, and improve ML model performance.
• Present technical problems and findings to business leaders and clients.
• Leverage best practices to develop scalable machine learning/data science solutions.
• Identify resource gaps and propose sustainable solutions for the team.

What you'll need

• 3-5 years of experience in data science and/or machine learning model development and deployments.
• Exposure to financial transactional structured/unstructured data, transaction classification, risk evaluation, and credit risk modeling (plus).
• Strong understanding of NLP, statistical modeling, visualization, and advanced data science techniques.
• SQL/database experience (preferred).
• Familiarity with technologies such as Tensorflow, Python, sklearn, and Pandas.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics.
