Data Scientist, Machine Learning

Overview

The Data Scientist, Machine Learning role conducts data analysis and develops statistical, econometric, optimization models and algorithms to solve real-world business problems and support client business decisions in the pharmaceutical domain.

What you'll do

• Conduct simple and advanced data analysis to help clients make good business decisions.
• Work with project leadership to define project scope and manage end-to-end implementation.
• Apply advanced statistical, econometric, optimization models and algorithms to real-world business problems.
• Develop new statistical models and provide analysis using existing models.
• Maintain the highest standards by following best practices and trending analytics in the pharma domain.
• Work with internal business teams to understand problem statements, requirements and use cases.
• Create a model and simulation tool from scratch.
• Interact with and manage external and internal stakeholders.
• Manage projects and ensure timelines and quality are met.

What you'll need

• Excellent problem-solving and quantitative skills.
• Hands-on experience with Python, R or SAS.
• Experience with tools such as PySpark, SQL and BigQuery.
• Ability to create a model and simulation tool from scratch.
• Comfort interacting with and managing external and internal stakeholders.
• Good project management skills and the ability to ensure timelines and quality are met.
