Overview
The Data Solution Architect owns end-to-end technical and architectural design of complex enterprise data solutions, aligning solution architecture with business objectives and enterprise standards.
What you'll do
- Own end-to-end technical and architectural design of complex enterprise solutions.
- Define scalable, secure, and cost-effective solution architectures.
- Provide architectural governance and guide delivery teams through design and implementation.
- Drive adoption of enterprise architecture design standards.
- Propose alternative solutions when standard approaches don’t fit enterprise principles.
- Bridge business strategy and technology execution via architecture decisions.
What you'll need
- 12-16 years of experience in solution architecture, system design, and enterprise scale delivery.
- Strong expertise in Azure Databricks, Apache Spark (PySpark), Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and distributed data processing.
- Proficiency with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Azure Data Factory, and Synapse Analytics.
- Hands-on experience building end-to-end data pipelines using Python and PySpark.
- Deep understanding of technical architecture patterns, microservices, APIs, kafka, and integration frameworks.
- Solid DevOps and CI/CD tooling experience (Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions, Terraform or similar).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Nice to have
- Experience in Oil & Gas, subsurface, facilities, or industrial data platforms.
- Familiarity with OSDU aligned architectures and industry data standards.
- Relevant cloud or architecture certifications.
- Experience working with OSDU (Open Subsurface Data Universe) data models or similar energy industry standards.
Details
- Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
- Standard work week: Monday to Friday; scheduled hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm or 1:30pm to 10:30pm.
