Senior Associate – Azure Data Engineering, D&A, Advisory

Overview

Senior Associate Azure Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize scalable data solutions on the Azure cloud platform in Noida.

What you'll do

• Design and manage scalable, secure data pipelines using Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory.
• Develop clean, efficient, reusable primary Python code for automation, data processing, and orchestration.
• Architect cloud-based data solutions integrating structured and unstructured data sources.
• Build and optimize ETL workflows and ensure seamless data integration across platforms.
• Build data models using normalization and denormalization for OLTP and OLAP support.
• Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks in data flows and ETL processes.
• Lead code reviews and enforce version control practices using Git.

What you'll need

• 6+ years overall experience in cloud engineering or data engineering roles.
• 2-3 years hands-on experience with Azure cloud services.
• Advanced Python programming skills, including advanced scripting, automation, and cloud SDK experience.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Azure Databricks (must-have).
• Azure Data Factory and Azure Blob Storage/Azure Data Lake Storage experience.
• Hands-on Apache Spark and data modeling (normalization & denormalization) experience.

Nice to have

• Understanding of OLTP and OLAP environments.
• Experience with Kafka and Hadoop.
• Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure DevOps for CI/CD integration.
• Agile delivery methodologies exposure.
