Senior Azure Data Engineer

Overview

Senior Azure Data Engineer to design, develop, and implement large-scale data engineering solutions, with strong SQL and Azure data platform experience.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and implement large-scale applications or data engineering solutions.
• Build data analytics using SQL.
• Develop and support cloud-based data lake solutions (preferably Microsoft Azure).
• Work with Azure services including EventHub, Data Factory, Functions, and Databricks.
• Use serverless compute and Delta Tables in data solutions.
• Apply CI/CD practices with GitHub/Azure DevOps and Terraform.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of total experience.
• 4+ years of software solution development using agile/dev ops/product model approaches.
• 4+ years of data analytics experience using SQL.
• 4+ years of cloud development and data lake experience (prefer Microsoft Azure).
• Experience with Python, PySpark/Spark, and Unix scripting.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Blob Storage.
