Data Transformation Manager S/4HANA (SD & PP)

Overview

Support Lonza's global CDMO sites in data readiness, data migration, go-live and post-go-live data management for the S/4HANA SD and PP deployment under the Nexus transformation program.

What you'll do

• Support global CDMO sites in achieving data readiness for S/4HANA SD and PP, covering data models and objects for Plan-to-Make (P2M) and Order-to-Cash (O2C).
• Establish and develop standardized delivery plans, processes, tools and templates for data preparation and continuously improve them.
• Mobilize local data owners and key users, preparing and delivering onboarding, training, alignment meetings and workshops.
• Coordinate with the 3rd party integration partner on data designs, mappings, construct files and transformations, and obtain formal sign-off from data owners and stakeholders.
• Orchestrate integrated Data Harmonization initiatives with other data domains towards approval for Data Migration.
• Orchestrate and coordinate migration activities between the integration partner, Nexus project teams and data owners.
• Support migration testing, mock loads including validation, and defect fixing in line with the migration plan.
• Identify and document issues promptly, drive timely resolution, and ensure project and quality documentation requirements are met.
• Identify opportunities for automation and adopt new technologies such as AI and Machine Learning.
• Support the rollout of SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) alongside global S/4HANA deployments, including training and handover to central transactional Master Data Management teams.
• Identify, manage and coordinate change requests concerning the S/4HANA data model, data management processes, SAP MDG workflows, data quality rulesets or exceptions such as mass data loads.
• Monitor and resolve data-management related issues and service tickets.
• Formalize activities into a comprehensive deployment toolkit for standardized, repeatable execution.
• Monitor quality through reviews against standards, track progress and report, and proactively identify and manage risks and issues.
• Provide training and support to data owners, document lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Coordinate activities with the integration partner and internal Nexus Data, IT/Tech and Business Process teams, and ensure alignment with Data and Information Architects.

What you'll need

• Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA SD and PP, Data Management, Data Migration and/or Digital Transformation projects and/or consulting.
• Deep understanding of SD and PP data model and objects in S/4HANA.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Project management and organizational skills, with experience preparing and delivering training and workshops.
• Strong communication skills, able to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) and/or other Data Management or Data Migration tools.
• Passion for data, digital transformation and innovative new technologies.

Details

• Permanent role based in Hyderabad, embedded in a new central data team fully dedicated to the global Nexus transformation program.
• Requires coordination and communication with stakeholders at multiple levels, including the 3rd party S/4HANA integration partner, local business, central functions and other Nexus team members.
