Deputy Manager - Procurement

Overview

Deputy Manager / Sourcing Manager, Procurement, responsible for delivering the Source to Contract service for one or more regions across indirect categories.

What you'll do

• Execute sourcing and contracting projects for spend categories in scope, aligned with stakeholder requirements and in partnership with the global category team.
• Deliver benefits identified in local, regional and global strategies, aligned to assurance of supply (risk management), quality, service, cost and innovation.
• Ensure GSK Procurement policies, procedures, processes, systems and methodologies are used in a compliant manner in the area of responsibility.
• Deliver savings and other set KPIs critical to global procurement plans, aligned with key stakeholders and Finance in accordance with the Savings Methodology and global budgets.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to deploy strategies globally and regionally, facilitated by robust implementation and transition plans.
• Resolve escalations, including from senior business stakeholders, timely and tactfully.
• Understand and efficiently navigate organizational complexity to deliver set goals.

What you'll need

• 5-10 years of relevant experience.
• Strong demonstrated procurement expertise in commercial and contract negotiations, strategic sourcing, indirect category management and cost model synthesis for delivering multi-country, high spend complex engagements.
• Strong experience in using tools like Ariba, Fairmarkit or other equivalent sourcing execution technology.
• Demonstrated success in collaboration with a wide range of senior leaders across business areas.
