Design Engineer

Overview

Design Engineer responsible for developing engineering solutions, preparing drawings, and supporting design processes for KONE equipment.

What you'll do

• Analyze contracts and specifications to develop engineering solutions.
• Prepare design and manufacturing drawings.
• Integrate safety, maintenance, manufacturability, and environmental sustainability into designs.
• Apply structural design and material characteristics knowledge.
• Communicate engineering progress to stakeholders.
• Deliver assigned tasks independently and on schedule.
• Support engineering functions, processes, tools, and global initiatives.

What you'll need

• 2–5 years of experience.
• B.E. in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
• Proficiency in Creo sheet metal modelling.
• Knowledge of handling large assemblies in Creo.
• Basic proficiency in MS Office.
• Knowledge of KONE equipment, technical design, and product limitations.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Elevator industry experience.
• Knowledge of EN codes.
• Manufacturing background.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD.
