Design Engineer, Structural

Overview

Design Engineer, Structural responsible for creating 3D structural models and 2D drawings for structural elements using BIM/CAD tools.

What you'll do

• Create 3D modeling of structural elements/members.
• Produce 2D drawing plans, elevations, and details.
• Perform structural detailing for items such as structural steel, concrete elements, and foundation systems.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams and architects on industrial projects.
• Conduct exposure to interference checks.
• Read and interpret sketches, inputs, and details.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience.
• Diploma in Civil Engineering or Bachelor of Civil Engineering.
• Experience in 3D modeling of structural members across tools/software.
• Hands-on experience with Revit and/or BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud/Revit Structure (added advantage).
• Tool knowledge including Revit Structure, BIM 360, Auto CAD, MicroStation, Plant 3D, SP3D, Advanced Steel, and Tekla Structures.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
