Design Implementation - Synthesis Principal Engineer

Overview

Design Implementation role focused on synthesis and related hardware engineering expertise.

What you'll do

• Drive synthesis using tools such as Synopsys Design Compiler (DCG/DC_NXT/Fusion Compiler) and/or Cadence equivalents (RC/Genus).
• Perform multi-voltage, power-aware synthesis using UPF flows for low-power designs.
• Conduct formal verification using Cadence LEC and/or Synopsys Formality.
• Write and debug timing constraints.
• Develop scripting and automation using Perl and/or TCL along with makefile flows.

What you'll need

• Have 18+ years of industry experience in synthesis and related areas.
• Expertise in multi-voltage, power-aware synthesis with UPF flows.
• Expertise in formal verification with Cadence LEC and/or Synopsys Formality.
• Experience writing and debugging timing constraints.
• Experience with Perl and/or TCL scripting and makefile flows.
• Educational fit via Bachelor’s (18+ years industry experience plus) OR Master’s (7+ hardware years) OR PhD (6+ hardware years) in relevant fields.
