Overview
Hands-on Designer supporting Candescent’s global Brand & Communications team across internal, client-facing, executive, event, digital, social, and sales enablement materials. The role requires strong design craft, production discipline, brand stewardship, and the ability to manage varied requests.
What you'll do
- Create visual solutions for digital, print, presentation, event, social, sales enablement, and internal communications projects.
- Design presentations, marketing decks, one-pagers, ebooks, infographics, newsletters, social graphics, signage, and related materials.
- Translate complex information into clear, engaging visual communications.
- Apply brand standards across typography, colour, layout, imagery, iconography, motion, and data visualisation.
- Prepare and proof production-ready files for digital, print, video, large-format, and event applications.
- Manage multiple projects, incorporate feedback, and deliver final assets on deadline.
- Collaborate with brand, communications, marketing, sales, events, and US-based stakeholders.
What you'll need
- 4–6 years of professional graphic design experience.
- A strong portfolio showing design work across presentations, digital, print, social, or brand storytelling.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Working proficiency in PowerPoint for presentation design, slide systems, templates, charts, and diagrams.
- Strong typography, layout, composition, and information design skills.
- Ability to manage shifting priorities and deliver high-quality work on deadline.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Communication Design, Fine Arts, Film, Animation, or a related field.
- Experience with financial services, technology, B2B, SaaS, or enterprise software brands.
- Experience designing for executive, client, partner, or sales audiences.
- Familiarity with Figma.
- Production knowledge including file preparation, print production, vendor coordination, and large-format applications.
- Experience with illustration, photography, or audio editing.
