Overview

Software Engineer for Ethernet/device driver software development, building and verifying networking device drivers for safety-critical automotive use.

What you'll do

• Develop kernel/user mode device drivers for Ethernovia’s networking devices software stack.
• Build stack extensions, debug components, and test utilities.
• Integrate device drivers with a Linux communication stack and an AUTOSAR stack.
• Enable user applications, middleware, and the operating system to utilize hardware features.
• Own architecture, design, implementation, testing, and integration of device drivers within Ethernovia’s SDK.
• Perform automated unit/system testing for the software stack.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Software or related field.
• 3 years work experience for a mid-level position or 7 years for a senior level position.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, including architecture, implementation, and testing fundamentals.
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming.
• Experience with software device drivers, preferably for communication devices like Ethernet.
• Deep understanding of operating systems and kernel/platform/device drivers, preferably Linux, QNX, or a real-time operating system.

• Location: Pune, India (multiple positions).
• Remote working considered case-by-case; willingness to locate to Pune is highly desirable.
• Employment level: mid to senior level available.
