WLAN Firmware- Sr Engineer

Overview

Software engineering role on the WLAN firmware team, focused on WLAN/Linux driver development.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of relevant hands-on technical experience in WLAN/Linux driver development with a record of strong individual technical achievement
• Strong programming skills in C
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Should be able to work in an aggressive, high pressure environment
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience, OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience, OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
• 2+ years of academic or work experience with a programming language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Ethernet and Wireless LAN driver development (preferred)
• Knowledge of IP Networking technologies
• RF level knowledge
• Knowledge of C/C++ language
• Knowledge of wireless industry standards (IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax) and RF
