DevOps and Infrastructure Support Engineer - IT Support + DevOps

Overview

DevOps and Infrastructure Support Engineer providing Level 2 application and platform support for the Puma platform, a business-critical enterprise system.

What you'll do

• Monitor AWS infrastructure, application services, workers, and platform health using Zabbix and ELK.
• Investigate and resolve Level 2 incidents across Linux/Windows, Java/Tomcat, ActiveMQ, NGINX, and Oracle/SQL Server databases.
• Perform triage and impact analysis using logs and system metrics to isolate root causes.
• Coordinate post-maintenance validation after OS, middleware, and database patching.
• Conduct RCA and manage structured escalations for configuration, infrastructure, or code changes.
• Develop operational scripts for diagnostics and routine automation using Shell or Python.

What you'll need

• 3 to 7 years of experience in Level 2 application/platform/DevOps-oriented support roles.
• Hands-on experience supporting AWS environments (EC2, storage, basic networking).
• Strong Linux (RHEL) and Windows Server troubleshooting experience.
• Experience supporting Java-based applications in production.
• Experience with Apache Tomcat deployments/configuration/logs.
• Hands-on experience with ELK Stack and Zabbix (or similar monitoring tools).
• Experience supporting Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases.

• Shift-based on-call support including evenings, weekends, and holidays as per roster.
