DevOps Engineer

Overview

Designs and implements development tools and infrastructure that support software development, with responsibility for continuous integration, delivery and deployment pipelines and the security and reliability of systems.

What you'll do

• Build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, ensuring systems are safe against security threats.
• Set up and build new development tools and infrastructure using knowledge of continuous integration, delivery and deployment (CI/CD), cloud technologies, container orchestration and security.
• Act as an SME, collaborate with and manage the team, and take responsibility for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead the implementation of best practices in automation and infrastructure management to improve operational efficiency.
• Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and development.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure seamless integration of new tools and technologies.

What you'll need

• Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps.
• Must have: proficiency in DevOps.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment tools and methodologies.
• Strong understanding of container orchestration platforms and cloud infrastructure.
• Knowledge of security best practices in software development and deployment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex systems and workflows.
• 15 years full-time education.

Nice to have

• Python (programming language).
• Red Hat OS Administration.
• Ansible on Microsoft Azure.
