Digital Technology Specialist - DevOps Engineering

Overview

Support the implementation, enhancement, onboarding, and daily operation of enterprise observability platforms, with a focus on Elastic Stack capabilities and SRE-driven operational outcomes.

What you'll do

• Manage the lifecycle of Elastic-based observability platforms.
• Onboard devices, infrastructure, cloud services, applications, and platforms into monitoring solutions.
• Build dashboards, visualizations, alerts, and operational reports.
• Configure log, metric, trace, uptime, and APM data collection.
• Investigate incidents, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis.
• Automate operational tasks using scripting, Infrastructure as Code, and repeatable deployments.
• Maintain platform upgrades, patching, performance tuning, runbooks, and operational documentation.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of SRE or DevOps experience in enterprise-scale or mission-critical environments.
• 5+ years of cloud, application, or platform operations experience across AWS, Azure, hybrid, or multi-cloud environments.
• 5+ years of automation, CI/CD, and scripting experience using Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ruby, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience with containers and cloud-native platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• 3+ years administering Elastic Observability platforms across deployment, maintenance, upgrades, patching, and scaling.
• Strong knowledge of observability concepts, including logs, metrics, traces, and synthetic monitoring.
• Experience with incident management, SRE practices, scalable ingestion pipelines, dashboards, and data visualization.

Nice to have

• AWS or Azure Associate-level certification.
• Elastic Certified Engineer or equivalent observability certification.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or GitHub Actions.
• Exposure to OpenTelemetry, service meshes, hybrid deployments, or security monitoring.
• AWS Professional-level certification or equivalent functional expertise.
