Overview
Director of Engineering (ERP) leading engineering teams responsible for foundational capabilities of QAD’s ERP applications and AI-driven tooling to analyze and simplify customer transitions to Adaptive.
What you'll do
- Lead multiple engineering teams and managers to deliver complex SaaS capabilities.
- Develop and evolve AI capabilities that automate analysis, streamlining, and ERP environment transformation.
- Own foundational extensibility capabilities for ERP functional modules supporting Adaptive Applications.
- Partner across Engineering, Product, Services, and other stakeholders to reduce customer complexity.
- Drive Agile, product-centric delivery models balancing speed, quality, and sustainability.
- Partner across internal and partner engineering teams in a hybrid model to set technical direction and quality expectations.
What you'll need
- 10–12+ years of software engineering experience with progressive engineering leadership.
- Proven experience leading managers and multiple teams delivering complex commercial enterprise software.
- Experience leading organizations through significant product or technology transformation.
- Meaningful experience applying AI to software products and engineering problems.
- Strong enterprise software architecture knowledge (system design, APIs, integrations, data, distributed systems).
- Strong cloud and modern engineering knowledge, preferably AWS, including CI/CD and automated testing.
