Director, Facilities Manager

Overview

Director – All India Soft Services leads and governs delivery of soft services across Schneider Electric’s India portfolio, ensuring workplace experience strategy, operational excellence, compliance, sustainability, service consistency, and financial performance.

What you'll do

• Develop and execute a national soft services strategy across Schneider Electric India locations.
• Set standardized operating procedures, governance frameworks, and service delivery models.
• Oversee soft services operations including housekeeping, reception, mailroom, pantry, and related services.
• Serve as senior escalation point and primary leadership contact for soft services stakeholders.
• Lead vendor & contract governance, performance management, audits, and benchmarking.
• Own national budgets, forecasts, cost optimization roadmaps, and spend monitoring.
• Ensure compliance, risk management, business continuity, and audit readiness for soft services.

What you'll need

• 15+ years of progressive experience in facilities management, workplace services, hospitality management, corporate real estate, or integrated facilities management.
• Minimum 8–10 years managing large-scale soft services operations across multiple sites and regions.
• Experience managing large vendor ecosystems and national service contracts.
• Exposure to workplace transformation, employee experience, and ESG programs (highly desirable).
• Experience leading geographically dispersed teams including regional managers and site leaders.
• Proficiency with CAFM/IWMS platforms and tools such as Microsoft Office, ServiceNow, SAP, and Power BI (as listed).
