Overview
Director of Global Order-to-Cash (O2C) Transformation, an operational leader partnering with engineering and finance operations to redesign and scale Anthropic’s global O2C function.
What you'll do
- Drive the global O2C transformation vision, roadmap, and execution across order management, provisioning, billing, invoicing, collections, and revenue recognition.
- Assess the current end-to-end O2C state, identify scale constraints, and plan a prioritized program with milestones and measurable outcomes.
- Build O2C metrics and reporting for leadership visibility, including cycle times, error/rework, touchless transaction rates, revenue leakage, and cost to serve.
- Serve as the senior operational voice in commercial and pricing workflows by translating business plans into billable and recognizable transactions.
- Design and standardize scalable, controlled O2C processes globally, removing one-off exception handling.
- Lead O2C systems and automation strategy, including AI-driven exception handling, reconciliation, reporting, anomaly detection, and control monitoring.
- Align cross-functionally across revenue accounting, deal desk, legal, tax, treasury, and engineering to influence outcomes without direct authority.
What you'll need
- 10+ years of progressive experience leading operational transformations within Revenue Operations, Billing Operations, or other finance operations teams.
- Expert understanding of process design and cross-functional project management, including using AI for automation, reporting, and compliance.
- Project/transformation credential: PMP certification and/or Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
- Expert understanding of quote-to-cash processes for SaaS, including subscription and consumption-based models for B2B products.
- Experience with contracting systems, billing platforms, and ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, Stripe, NetSuite, Oracle, Workday Financials, Zuora).
- Proven track record leading large-scale strategic/automation initiatives end-to-end from business case through implementation and adoption.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
Details
- Hybrid policy: expected to be in one of the company offices at least 25% of the time.
- Annual salary range: $230,000–$300,000 USD.
- Visa sponsorship: company sponsors visas and intends to make reasonable efforts if an offer is made.
