Director - India Head of Architecture

Overview

Director and India Head of Architecture for Deutsche Bank in Pune, leading architecture delivery and governance in India.

What you'll do

• Lead the India Architecture team and act as the senior point of contact for Architecture in India.
• Ensure high-quality delivery across architecture layers and domains in alignment with global architecture leadership.
• Improve architecture engineering through Architecture as Code, production-ready patterns, guardrails, and reusable components.
• Create and update traceable diagrams for current-state, target-state, transition, and project-specific architectures.
• Apply AI-based automation to architecture deliverables, tollgates, controls, and evidence.
• Advance risk-based architecture governance with automated tollgates, control checks, escalation triggers, and evidence.

What you'll need

• Proven leadership experience managing teams of a similar scale (preferably 12+ people).
• Experience leading organizational transformation or change initiatives.
• Strong architecture background.
• Practical experience with AI and automation solutions.
• Extensive senior leadership experience across architecture, engineering, and governance (delivery and controls accountability).
• Fluent English is required.
