Overview
Lead the infrastructure engineering function for OneTrust's R&D organization, owning strategy, architecture and roadmap for cloud infrastructure, DevOps and deployment automation, and building and leading a team of DevOps and infrastructure automation engineers across US and India.
What you'll do
- Own the strategy, architecture, and roadmap for cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and deployment automation across R&D, aligning investment with product and platform growth.
- Lead, hire, and develop a team of DevOps engineers, infrastructure automation engineers, and deployment engineers, building a strong bench of technical talent across US and India.
- Drive infrastructure-as-code (IaC) adoption and standards (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) to make environment provisioning repeatable, auditable, and self-service for product engineering teams.
- Own CI/CD pipeline architecture and tooling, reducing deployment friction and time-to-production while improving release reliability and rollback safety.
- Set the strategy for multi-cloud/hybrid infrastructure management, container orchestration, and platform scalability to support current and future product growth.
- Partner with Security and Compliance to embed security guardrails, access controls, and regulatory requirements (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO) directly into infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
- Own infrastructure reliability and observability, including monitoring, alerting, incident response, and on-call practices, in partnership with Engineering and SRE stakeholders.
- Lead cost optimization efforts across cloud spend, right-sizing infrastructure investment against usage and business need.
- Act as the primary point of escalation and decision-maker for infrastructure, DevOps, and deployment-related incidents and cross-team dependencies.
- Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and Security leadership to represent infrastructure needs in roadmap planning and major technical decisions.
- Evaluate and select tooling and vendor partnerships that support the team's automation-first, self-service infrastructure vision.
What you'll need
- 12+ years of progressive experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, site reliability engineering, or cloud operations, including 4+ years in a people leadership role.
- Proven experience building and leading DevOps, infrastructure, or platform engineering teams, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management.
- Deep hands-on background with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP) and infrastructure-as-code tooling (Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent).
- Strong track record architecting and scaling CI/CD pipelines and release automation for enterprise-grade, high-availability software products.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and modern deployment strategies (blue/green, canary, zero-downtime migrations).
- Working knowledge of security, compliance, and regulatory frameworks relevant to SaaS infrastructure (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR).
- Demonstrated success partnering with Engineering, Security, and Product leadership to align infrastructure strategy with business priorities.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to have
