Director Of Engineering - Platform Services

Overview

Director of Engineering (POD Lead) to lead Truveta’s Platform Services team in India, building and operating the infrastructure backing engineering teams globally.

What you'll do

• Define and drive the technical vision, architecture, and roadmap for Platform Services and internal engineering platforms.
• Lead scalable, secure, highly available infrastructure and backend service design and implementation.
• Own platform services including authentication, authorization, identity and access management, and CI/CD.
• Lead Kubernetes-based platforms and cloud-native service development and operations.
• Establish engineering standards for API development, testing, code quality, observability, and operational readiness.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to prioritize requirements and ensure predictable high-quality delivery.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 3+ years of experience in technical leadership, engineering management, or people management.
• Experience leading engineering teams responsible for shared platforms, infrastructure, backend services, or developer tooling.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and cloud-native technologies.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes and infrastructure operations.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C#, Java, Go, Python, or similar.

Nice to have

• Experience working with healthcare, life sciences, clinical data, or other highly regulated domains.
