Distinguished Technologist focused on systems/software engineering for next-generation data center networking solutions.

What you'll do

• Define and drive technical architecture and long-term technology strategy for data center networking.
• Lead architectural design across networking hardware, network OS, cloud-native software, automation, and management platforms.
• Translate customer, market, and business requirements into scalable architecture and platform capabilities.
• Collaborate with engineering to set architectural standards, design principles, performance requirements, and tradeoffs.
• Drive architecture reviews and provide technical leadership across multiple product and engineering teams.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to identify innovation opportunities.

What you'll need

• Deep expertise in data center networking technologies (switching, routing, network operating systems, large-scale deployments).
• Strong understanding of open networking architectures and SONiC-based Linux networking systems.
• Experience developing architectures for enterprise, hyperscale cloud, AI cluster, or service provider environments.
• Knowledge of networking silicon, ASIC architectures, packet processing pipelines, and hardware/software interaction.
• Experience designing highly available, scalable, and secure distributed systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering or related field (advanced degree preferred).

• Work mode: Hybrid, with an average requirement of 2 days per week from an HPE office.
