Driver CDL

Overview

Deliver Mondelēz snack products safely and efficiently to stores and warehouses as a CDL Class A driver based in Maize, KS.

What you'll do

• Ensure compliance with procedures and perform regular safety checks of equipment (tractor, trailer, pallet jack, etc.).
• Complete daily field service activities, including preparing receipts, truck logs, and maintenance records.
• Perform all duties as scheduled by Route Manager or Dispatch.

What you'll need

• Must meet all requirements set forth in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's Final Rule regarding the issuance and renewal of Commercial Driver's Licenses (CDLs).
• CDL-Class A license.
• At least one year of proven safe driving experience.
• Valid REAL ID driver's license, U.S. passport, or federal ID.
• Must successfully pass drug test, MVR, and background check.
• FMCSA Clearinghouse Registration required.
• Customer-oriented attitude, providing excellent support to key customers.
• Minimum of one year of safe driving experience with no serious driving convictions.
• DOT requirement to check the last 10 years.
• Familiarity with Occupational and Safety Health Act (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, as well as local, state, and federal requirements.
• Basic understanding of temperature-controlled food transportation.
• Proficiency in using a smart phone and electronic logging device (ELD) for logging positions and driving times.
• Able to use a scanner and log deliveries.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing routes and working schedules.
• Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions and varying temperatures.

Nice to have

• Direct store delivery experience (DSD).

Details

• Principal location: 5260 N 119th St W, Maize, KS 67101; interstate routes, main city Wichita.
• Schedule subject to change based on business demand: Monday to Friday (any 4-5 days, Saturdays from time to time); 40 hours/week.
• Delivery routes start between 1am-4am; shuttle routes start between 7am-11am; finish when work is done.
• Service a military base facility, which requires a valid REAL ID driver's license, U.S. passport, or federal ID for access.
• Hourly pay rate: $30 per hour, plus Branch Incentive Plan (BIP) bonus.
• Employment type: Regular, full-time hourly role.
