Driver CDL

Overview

Drive CDL Class A routes delivering Mondelēz products safely and on time to stores and warehouses, as part of a labor-union-represented position.

What you'll do

• Ensure compliance with procedures and perform regular safety checks of your equipment (tractor, trailer, pallet jack, etc.).
• Complete daily field service activities, including preparing receipts, truck logs, and maintenance records.
• Perform all duties as scheduled by Route Manager or Dispatch.

What you'll need

• Must meet all requirements set forth in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's Final Rule regarding the issuance and renewal of Commercial Driver's Licenses (CDLs).
• Must have a CDL-Class A license.
• At least two years of proven safe driving experience.
• Valid REAL ID driver's license, U.S. passport, or federal ID.
• Must successfully pass drug test, MVR, and background check.
• FMCSA Clearinghouse Registration required.
• Minimum of one year of safe driving experience with no serious driving convictions.
• DOT requirement to check the last 10 years.
• Familiarity with Occupational and Safety Health Act (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, as well as local, state, and federal requirements.
• Basic understanding of temperature-controlled food transportation.
• Proficiency in using a smart phone and electronic logging device (ELD) for logging positions and driving times.
• Able to use a scanner and log deliveries.
• Customer-oriented attitude, providing excellent support to key customers.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing routes and working schedules.
• Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions and varying temperatures.

Nice to have

• Direct store delivery experience (DSD).

Details

• Location: Principal location at 1208 Belmar Dr., Belcamp MD; interstate routes across Southeast PA, northern Delaware, and northeast Maryland.
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, starting between 12 am and 4 am depending on the day and route; 8 to 10 hour shifts; 40 hours per week; subject to change based on customer demand.
• Military base facility service requires a valid REAL ID driver's license, U.S. passport, or federal ID for access.
• Hourly wage of $29.75/hour; healthcare, retirement benefits, and paid time off per the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
