Driver CDL

Overview

Delivers Mondelēz products safely and efficiently to stores and warehouses as a CDL driver, based in Little Rock, AR, and represented by a labor union.

What you'll do

• Ensure compliance with procedures and perform regular safety checks of equipment (tractor, trailer, pallet jack, etc.).
• Complete daily field service activities, including preparing receipts, truck logs, and maintenance records.
• Perform all duties as scheduled by Route Manager or Dispatch.

What you'll need

• All applicants must meet all requirements set forth in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's Final Rule regarding the issuance and renewal of Commercial Driver's Licenses (CDLs).
• Must have a CDL-Class A license.
• Must have at least two years of proven safe driving experience.
• Minimum of one year of safe driving experience with no serious driving convictions.
• Valid REAL ID driver's license, U.S. passport, or federal ID.
• Must successfully pass drug test, MVR, and background check.
• FMCSA Clearinghouse Registration required.
• Customer-oriented attitude, providing excellent support to key customers.
• Familiarity with Occupational and Safety Health Act (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, as well as local, state, and federal requirements.
• Basic understanding of temperature-controlled food transportation.
• Proficiency in using a smart phone and electronic logging device (ELD) for logging positions and driving times.
• Able to use a scanner and log deliveries.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing routes and working schedules.
• Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions and varying temperatures.

Nice to have

• Direct store delivery experience (DSD).

Details

• Principal location: 330 Mid State Truck Plaza, North Little Rock, AR 72117; delivering to TN, AR, MS, and MO.
• Schedule, subject to change based on business demand: Monday to Friday, starting 11 PM - 2 AM, finishing when work is done, 40-50 hours per week, with some occasional Saturdays.
• Hourly wage of $27.95 per hour.
• Position is represented by a labor union; benefits include healthcare, retirement, and paid time off per the Collective Bargaining Agreement, subject to eligibility requirements.
