Driver CDL

Overview

Driver CDL role delivering Mondelēz products safely and efficiently to stores and warehouses. This position is represented by a labor union.

What you'll do

• Ensure compliance with procedures and perform regular safety checks of equipment (tractor, trailer, pallet jack, etc.).
• Complete daily field service activities, including preparing receipts, truck logs, and maintenance records.
• Perform all duties as scheduled by Route Manager or Dispatch.

What you'll need

• CDL Class A license.
• At least two years of proven safe driving experience.
• A valid REAL ID driver's license, U.S. passport, or federal ID.
• Minimum of one year of safe driving experience with no serious driving convictions.
• Customer-oriented attitude, providing excellent support to key customers.
• Familiarity with OSHA and DOT regulations, as well as local, state, and federal requirements.
• Basic understanding of temperature-controlled food transportation.
• Proficiency in using a smart phone and electronic logging device (ELD) for logging positions and driving times.
• Able to use a scanner and log deliveries.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing routes and working schedules.
• Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions and varying temperatures.
• Must pass drug test, MVR, and background check.
• FMCSA Clearinghouse Registration required.
• DOT requirement to check the last 10 years of driving history.

Nice to have

• Direct store delivery (DSD) experience.

Details

• Principal location: 1800 Progress Way, Clarksville, IN 47129.
• Delivering to Indiana and Kentucky (interstate).
• Schedule Monday-Saturday (5 days), subject to change based on customer demand; starting between 10 pm and 2 am, finishing when work is completed (10 to 12 hour shifts), 40 hours, with overtime opportunities.
• Military base facility access requires a valid REAL ID driver's license, U.S. passport, or federal ID.
