Early Careers Talent Acquisition Specialist

Overview

Lead the operational delivery of early-career talent programmes, including university partnerships, campus events, internships, and graduate conversions. Partner with talent acquisition and business stakeholders to create structured, fair, and supportive candidate journeys.

What you'll do

• Build and execute university and emerging-talent engagement programmes.
• Run the annual early-career recruiting calendar and assessment cycles.
• Establish partnerships with universities, student societies, and tech communities across Nigeria.
• Deliver end-to-end internship programmes, including recruiting, onboarding, cohort programming, and conversions.
• Manage application, screening, and interview workflows for high-volume cohorts.
• Track programme metrics and provide data-driven recommendations to talent acquisition leadership.
• Guide junior recruiters or coordinators supporting early-talent pipelines.

What you'll need

• 5–7 years of talent acquisition experience.
• Experience with campus recruiting, university relations, early-career programmes, or cohort hiring.
• Experience coordinating complex projects or multi-stakeholder programmes.
• Practical experience using Applicant Tracking Systems and candidate evaluation tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of the Nigerian higher education landscape and emerging talent communities.

Nice to have

• Experience running student hackathons, innovation challenges, or STEM recruitment initiatives.
• Experience in technology, fintech, or fast-paced corporate environments.
• Familiarity with funnel analytics, spreadsheet reporting, or presentation design.
