eAxle System Architect - Deputy Manager

Overview

Design and develop the eAxle system architecture at the System of Systems level, including interfaces, specifications, requirements, and validation planning.

What you'll do

• Define and develop the eAxle system layout, dimensioning, and systemic solution.
• Develop system architecture with interface definitions, descriptions, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate product requirements using top-down and bottom-up approaches with internal experts and cross-functional teams.
• Perform system-level risk assessment, mitigation planning, and impact analysis for requirement/design changes.
• Lead stakeholder communication and manage expectations across engineering, product, and business teams.
• Plan and coordinate system V&V activities for compliance with requirements and industry standards.
• Conduct trade-off analysis across performance, cost, weight, and other critical parameters.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in automotive system engineering focused on electrification technologies.
• Experience developing and designing system architecture at the system-of-systems level.
• Strong experience defining interfaces, creating technical specifications, and documenting system requirements.
• Ability to address uncertainties and incomplete requirements by making informed assumptions and translating them into robust product requirements.
• Experience supporting system work packages and tracking work status and project milestones.
