ECAD Engineer

Overview

ECAD Engineer responsible for maintaining PCB component libraries and supporting automotive OEM customers with quality schematic symbols and geometry cells for PCB designs.

What you'll do

• Maintain the component library database, including schematic symbols and geometry cells.
• Create, modify, review, and approve schematic symbols and cells.
• Improve and incorporate design for manufacturing.
• Coordinate with local and remote engineering teams.
• Complete assigned tasks on time in compliance with ASUX quality standards.
• Follow the Electrical Design Process.

What you'll need

• 5–8 years of experience in a PCB component librarian role.
• Hands-on experience with ECAD tools.
• Good spoken and written English skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s or master’s studies in Electrical and Electronics or Electronics and Communication Engineering.

Nice to have

• Experience with Mentor Graphics Xpedition tool flow.
• Automotive PCB design exposure.
• Knowledge of high-speed simulations.
• Knowledge of electronic circuit design.
