EHS/Safety Officer

Overview

Contractual EHS/Safety Officer role supporting Environment, Health & Safety compliance for IBMS projects in Bangalore.

What you'll do

• Implement EHS policies, procedures, and safety standards at project sites.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments for IBMS activities.
• Monitor site work to ensure compliance with statutory, client, and company safety requirements.
• Develop JSA, method statements, and risk assessment documents.
• Run safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness training for employees and contractors.
• Investigate incidents/near misses and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure PPE use and maintain EHS records, reports, permits, and compliance documentation.

What you'll need

• 3 to 8 years of experience in EHS/Safety management.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
• Experience managing safety requirements at project and construction sites.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, permit-to-work systems, and contractor safety management.
• Technical competencies cited: EHS risk assessment & hazard identification, incident investigation, safety audits & inspections.
• Experience in IBMS/BMS/building automation, MEP, HVAC, electrical, ELV, construction, or infrastructure projects.
