Risk & Compliance Manager - Health & Safety

Overview

Risk & Compliance Manager - Health & Safety will advance Atlas’ global occupational health and safety (OHS) program and lead enterprise-wide H&S risk mitigation and policy development.

What you’ll do

• Monitor, interpret, and implement OHS legislation and standards across jurisdictions.
• Conduct workplace hazard identification and risk assessments and coordinate mitigation efforts.
• Partner with Sales to assess H&S risk and readiness for new industries and client verticals.
• Lead research to maintain a database of country-specific OHS rules and reporting requirements.
• Manage rollout of an H&S incident management module and support incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Develop and localize OHS policies, procedures, and frameworks aligned with international safety standards.

What you’ll need

• 5+ years of progressive experience in occupational health & safety.
• A bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety, environmental health & safety, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of international OHS standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO 45001).
• Ability to adapt safety practices across diverse industries and work settings.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail in policies, plans, and procedures.
• Leadership presence to direct teams during an H&S incident.
