Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and Facilities Specialist

Overview

Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and Facilities Specialist responsible for EHS compliance, regulatory oversight, risk management, emergency preparedness, and facilities management.

What you'll do

• Act as the EHS Coordinator to ensure compliance with applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Proactively identify workplace hazards and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Complete required EHS documentation and submit audits accurately and on time.
• Oversee safe chemical storage, labeling, segregation, and disposal, and coordinate waste disposal vendors.
• Manage lab inventory records and end-to-end procurement of chemicals, consumables, and laboratory supplies.
• Handle facilities & asset management including AMC/CMC renewals and maintaining facility asset and instrument records.

What you'll need

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in EHS coordination or related roles.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in environmental science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, Facility Management, or related field.
• Knowledge of EHS management systems and standards.
• Ability to prepare and maintain detailed safety and compliance documentation.

• On-site role based at the BDC facility in Bengaluru.
• Associate must be in Bengaluru.
• Reports to Senior Manager – Technical Support and Global Applications.
