Electrical Component Engineer

Overview

Design and develop electronic parts, modules, and systems for advanced equipment applications. This graduate-eligible role focuses on electrical system design, analysis, testing, and validation.

What you'll do

• Design and develop electronic parts, modules, and systems.
• Establish operating data to improve electrical system designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on custom and OEM components.
• Test and validate electrical and electromechanical systems using lab equipment.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for design reviews.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with analog and digital electronic circuit design.
• Knowledge of signal and controls theory.
• Experience with electrical board design, troubleshooting, and validation.
• Familiarity with circuit design and simulation CAD tools such as PCAD, ORCAD, ZUKEN, AutoCAD, Spice, ADS, or HFSS.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of power and controls technologies for systems automation.
• Familiarity with design for serviceability, manufacturability, and reliability.
• Knowledge of network sniffers, protocol analyzers, and tool logs for troubleshooting.
• Oral and written communication skills, including technical presentations.
