Overview

Engineer, Electrical Systems to develop and platform electronic control units (ECUs) and related components within a Vehicle Electronics and Software team.

What you'll do

• Decompose vehicle system requirements into controller hardware and software requirements.
• Document requirements and validation tests using Integrity.
• Interface with vendors and Polaris Purchasing for component/module development and quality.
• Support HW/SW validation plans and procedures for MIL/SIL/HIL simulation and/or bench/vehicle testing.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity on secure architectures as system complexity evolves.
• Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of design and/or implementation experience for ECU’s related to vehicle controls/diagnostics/communication.
• Experience with communication networks including CAN, UDS, and J1939 (strongly preferred among those named).
• Experience with software and/or hardware V&V efforts including MIL/SIL/HIL and unit testing.
• BS or higher in Engineering (Electrical, Software, Computer, or related desired).
• Ability to solve problems and troubleshoot effectively.
• Requirement writing experience for a vehicle ECU feature/function.
• Works in a fast-paced development environment.
