Electrical Engineer

Overview

Electrical Engineer responsible for designing electrical, data, instrumentation, lighting, power distribution and security systems for process equipment and building projects.

What you'll do

• Design electrical, data and instrumentation systems for process equipment.
• Design lighting, power distribution up to 1kV, fire signaling, burglary and CCTV systems.
• Create wiring and hook-up diagrams using 2D and 3D drafting or modelling software.
• Develop proficiency in REVIT and other design software.
• Deliver project tasks within agreed budgets and schedules.
• Prepare reports, presentations and project drawings for required design phases.
• Follow company design and checking standards and procedures.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design for process equipment.
• Working knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD.
• Working knowledge of calculation software such as Dialux, Amtech, Caneco or Eplan.
• Working knowledge of LV electrical design norms and standards.
• Medium English language skills.
• Problem-solving, analytical, planning, organizational and communication skills.
