Electrical Engineering Expert

Overview

Contract, part-time Electrical Engineering Expert to design deterministic, difficult electrical engineering problems and provide verified solutions for AI training and evaluation.

What you'll do

• Design advanced electrical engineering problems for frontier AI training and evaluation.
• Create deterministic problems with exactly one verifiable correct answer.
• Write complete, verified solutions and document the reasoning process.
• Develop problems involving circuits, electronics, signal processing, control systems, electromagnetics, power systems, or communications.
• Use tools such as Python, MATLAB/Simulink, or SPICE to validate solutions where relevant.
• Ensure outputs are technically precise, reproducible, and written in English.

What you'll need

• Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Strong research or industry experience in relevant electrical engineering domains.
• Strong mathematical and computational problem-solving skills.
• Solid grasp of circuit analysis, modeling, numerical methods, and engineering fundamentals.
• Ability to design original, difficult problems that mirror real electrical engineering workflows.
• Excellent attention to detail and technical writing skills in English.

Nice to have

• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink, Python, LTspice, PSpice, PSCAD, or similar tools.
• Background in control theory, digital signal processing, power electronics, RF systems, or embedded systems.
• Experience evaluating model reasoning, developing benchmarks, or creating technical assessments.

• Location: Remote (Argentina).
• Type: Contract / Part-time.
• Commitment: 20 hours per week.
• Compensation: Up to 40 USD per hour.
• Project duration: 2 months, with potential extension.
