Overview

Senior Clinical Data Engineer for a remote LATAM function covering trials across global sites.

What you'll do

• Lead development and optimization of clinical data systems for global trials.
• Drive enterprise data standardization, mapping, and governance for regulatory alignment.
• Build and implement validation frameworks to detect and resolve data issues.
• Architect modular SAS-based codebases and define coding standards; mentor junior engineers.
• Oversee regulatory compliance documentation and audit trail protocols (GCP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11).
• Develop dashboards and analytics tools to provide real-time trial and data-quality insights.
• Design secure, high-performance databases and ETL pipelines integrating diverse clinical systems.

What you'll need

• Minimum 6 years experience in clinical monitoring, clinical trial management, or equivalent.
• Advanced programming and automation skills, including database design and dashboard development.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Highly effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn from protocols and electronic study/clinical data systems.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and data monitoring tools.
